Why choose BMC therapy?

Compared to other regenerative therapies, BMC can deliver stem cells to damaged tissues in a much higher concentration than other regenerative therapies. The treatment does not require open surgery, and it takes place through a needle puncture (in a minimally invasive way). In BMC, the body’s own stem cells are used for regeneration, so no rejection or allergic reaction to stem cells can occur.

The steps of BMC treatment

At Profivet Animal Hospital, BMC treatment takes one hour. From the surgical preparation to the complete awakening from sedation, in total the dog is only away from their owner for 3-4 hours. Patients can leave on their own feet immediately after treatment, and can return to their original work load within a day or two, without the need for movement restrictions. The final result of the stem cell transplantation is reached by the second to the third month after the implantation.
